Lung Cancer Awareness Month | The Krause Conversation

November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month, and as many of you know, we have personally experienced the devastating impact of lung cancer. We lost our beloved daughter, Angie, to a rare form of lung cancer (ALK) in 2015, and since then, we have been committed to supporting research and spreading awareness for this disease. Did you know that lung cancer is the deadliest form of cancer? The National Cancer Institute estimates that for 2021 alone, over 130,000 lives have been lost to lung cancer. But despite the statistics, lung cancer receives less funding than other types of cancer. It’s our hope that this will change.

For the month of November, we are making a donation to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation for every vehicle that we sell. With a vision of “a world free of lung cancer,” the Lung Cancer Research Foundation’s mission is “to improve lung cancer outcomes by funding research for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of lung cancer.” We also support the Chris Drafty Family Foundation, which is based out of Atlanta. Their mission is to “strengthen communities by empowering families to live healthy lifestyles through a national movement of self-awareness and education.” Will you join us in supporting lung cancer research and spreading awareness?

If you or someone you know is battling lung cancer, we want you to know that you are not alone.
